About WAYNE ROONEY:
Rooney was born in Croxteth, Liverpool. Rooney began playing for Liverpool Schoolboys and scored 72 goals in one season, a record which stood until May 2010. At age nine, Rooney played for Copplehouse boys' club in the local Walton and Kirkdale junior league and scored 99 goals.He was then spotted by the English giants, Everton. He made his senior team debut on 17 August 2002 with a 2-2 draw against Tottenham Hotspur. Rooney scored his goals as he scored a brace in 3-0 win over Wrexham. When he was 16, he scored the last minute winning goal against Arsenal to end their 30 match unbeaten streak.In December, Rooney was named 2002's BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year.His debut season (2002-2003) ended with 8 goals in 37 appearances.

In the beginning of the 2003-2004 season he was bought the Red Devils giving him the salary of £ 26.5 million. Rooney was still only 18 when he left Everton .He made his United debut on 28 September in a 6–2 home win over Fenerbahçe in the UEFA Champions League, scoring a hat-trick.These goals made Rooney the youngest player to score a hat-trick in the Champions League aged 18 years 335 days. Sir Alex Ferguson gave him the number 8 shirt. Later he was given the prestigious number 10 shirt. He usually plays as a center forward but he seldom plays on right wing giving Diego Forlan the chance to play in center forward.

He won 7 Premier League Titles with Manchester United. He also won the FA Cup in 2015.He won the Champions League and Club World Cup in 2008. He is the all time top scorer of Manchester United as well as England national Football team.
